Acquired by Farmers Rice Milling Company in July 1996, this grain drying facility has 710,000 CWTs (hundredweight's) of storage capacity, and drying capabilities which enable it to keep up with modern day harvesting equipment. It is conveniently  located in Lacassine, Louisiana, just 20 miles from Farmers Rice Mill. The Hardy Rice Drier is a critical part of Farmers Rice Milling Company's plan to expand its rough rice purchase programs.
